Zen Mahjong is a specialized mobile wrapper client designed to provide a highly optimized, immersive, and responsive full-screen gameplay experience for the popular web-based Mahjong game hosted at https://whatajong.com/ (a Mahjong Solitaire deckbuilding game).

All gameplay processing, save state management, and interaction with game mechanics occur inside the isolated sandbox of your device's web container (WebView) or directly on the game developer's servers.

2. Information Collected or Processed

A. No Direct Personal Data Collection

The App does not require user registration, accounts, passwords, or emails. We do not access your device's contact lists, photos, precise GPS coordinates, microphone, camera, or any other sensitive hardware identifiers.

B. WebView Storage (Local Save States)

To keep track of your game history, unlocked achievements, active tile matches, deck upgrades, layouts, and personal preferences, the App uses standard Android browser local storage engines (such as HTML5 localStorage, sessionStorage, and essential cookies).

• This data is stored locally on your device within the secure container allocated to the App.
• Deleting or clearing the App's storage cache through your Android system settings will reset your gameplay state.

C. Internet Connectivity & Access

The App requires internet access (android.permission.INTERNET) to load the game assets, run real-time updates, and cache resource configurations for potential offline play once cached. During connection, standard technical requests (like your IP address, device agent, and browser configuration) are transmitted automatically as part of standard HTTPS handshakes.

3. Third-Party Services and Advertising

To support ongoing maintenance and provide the app for free, Zen Mahjong utilizes modern third-party services. These services may collect technical indicators to provide their functionality:

A. Google AdMob (Mobile Ads SDK)

The App displays advertisement banners powered by Google AdMob.

• Data Processed: AdMob may collect and process telemetry data, such as your Google Advertising ID (GAID), IP address, device brand and model, mobile carrier, and coarse location. This is used to offer customized or non-customized advertising, limit ad frequency, and gauge ad campaign performance.
• Opt-Out: You can reset or disable your Advertising ID profile directly inside your Android system settings (Google -> Ads -> Reset/Delete Advertising ID).

B. Whatajong Host Services

Since the App renders content from https://whatajong.com/, the host server's standard resource hosting and content delivery networks (CDNs) will record server request logs (IP address, time of access, device user agent). Refer to Whatajong for their web companion policies.

4. Children's Privacy

Zen Mahjong does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal data from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child has provided personal or persistent telemetry identifiers to standard analytical systems through our app, please adjust the device's Google advertising parameters or contact us to help address your safety requests.

5. Compliance with Global Regulations (GDPR & CCPA)

Because Zen Mahjong does not gather, transmit, or warehouse user personal archives on databases under our operational control:

• GDPR (EU/EEA Users): You do not need to request deletion or modification of personal profile records from us, as zero such database profiles exist. Your local gameplay records are held fully on your terminal and can be deleted by uninstalling the application or clearing storage cache.
• CCPA / CPRA (California Users): We do not sell or share your personal data with marketing brokers. Ad targeting is governed under standard Google AdMob opt-out rules on your device.
